The German Association for Translation and Interpreting Science (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Übersetzungs- und Dolmetschwissenschaft DGÜD) was founded in 1997 as a scholarly society with the objective to promote the research profile of the discipline of translation and interpreting (T&I) and to promote young researchers and their T&I research projects. The DGÜD publishes Yearbooks on translation and interpreting, starting in 2008 on-line under TC Publishing zur and supports research colloquia on T&I issues.
